LEATRICE EISEMAN OF THE PANTONE COLOR INSTITUTE
Color Trends Workshop
The Yakima Ad Federation is pleased to introduce Leatrice Eiseman of the Pantone Color Institute as keynote speaker at the club's June 15, 2005 business luncheon. Ms. Eiseman is a recognized authority on color with 5 published books to her credit including Colors for Your Every Mood (Capital Books, Sterling, VA). and the Pantone Guide to Communicating with Color (F&W Publications, Cincinnati, OH). Her work as principle of the Eiseman Center for Color Information and Training, and Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute has taken her around the world as a color consultant to Fortune 500 companies, as well as small start-up enterprises.
Recently recognized by Home Furnishings Now (a leading home furnishings trade publication) as one of the top 50 style makers in America, Lee is regularly quoted in publications such as Elle Decor, Home Magazine, House and Garden, Vogue, Glamour, Communication Arts, Ad Age, and the Wall Street Journal. She has also made appearances at home and abroad on CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, HGTV, the Discovery Channel, and the Fox network as a color expert.
As keynote speaker at the June YAF luncheon, Lee will enliven her audience with a fifty-five minute presentation on Color Trends and Forecasting. Members and guests attending the YAF luncheon will receive the latest information from the Pantone Color Institute on what's hot and what's not in the world of professional color.
Following Lee's luncheon remarks, the Yakima Ad Federation has arranged for her to remain and conduct an additional 1.5 hour workshop on the Psychology of Color. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to learn from one of the world's leading color theorists about the role color plays in influencing consumer habits and decisions. This valuable hour and a half session will provide everyone in attendance with a crystal clear picture of the way we react to color.
