Peter McMillin is the Managing Director of the Tourism and Film Office, a unit of the Economic Development Division of the Washington State Department of Community, Trade and Economic Development.
During his tenure, Peter has worked closely with the industry to raise public awareness of the tourism and film industry's value to the state's economy. He has also provided leadership in the effective use of state resources by exploring the use of marketing partnerships and establishing greater coordination with other agencies and nonprofit organizations. McMillin oversees a consolidated marketing program that includes promotion of the state as a premier visitor destination and as an exceptional location that offers a business-friendly environment and outstanding quality of life.
